… Butt Kissing to the Chinese …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Sunday,December 1st,2013

.. now , that is new .

.. and , it is outrageous .

.. China is trying to flex its muscles . It does have an effective air force , but not one that match up with the United States . Do Not Even bring up the fact of China ‘ s naval power . They do not have much . It is growing , slowly but steadily , but they are learning .

.. You do not control the seas by immediately jumping into the international scene by diktat . Which is what China is currently trying to do . And His Lordship is humoring them . Yes , humoring them , by notifying them of the passage of our Pacific Fleet through the disputed area .

.. one may wonder what I am talking about ??? China has acted to declare a “defense zone” in the South China Sea . The area that it encompasses is massive . It includes several groups of contested small island groups , Taiwan (naturally) , and other areas close to Vietnam , the Phillipines , South Korea , and other nations ….

.. to say the least , it is a bit much , and waaay overblown …

.. What we should do is adopt a Do Not F-Bomb With Me posture . Then , send the 7th Fleet (i believe) through the disputed area . Without notice . The Chinese will have one hell of a hissy fit . Let them . They specialize in hissy fits . If they want to act like a mature power , they will quit running their mouths off , quit bullying the other nations , and work on building their naval power .

.. China will be a force to contend with , now and in the near future . One should not start to ” kiss their ass ” by notifying them of the passage of any naval ships or any aircraft of any kind .

.. China should understand that they are playing a very dangerous game . They must really want to get themselves into diplomatic hot water by running their mouths off . If they are not careful , they will not be the only nuclear power in Asia , other than Russia and the U.S. . Other nations will go nuclear . Japan could do so in a heartbeat . They could also start on a crash naval building program and re – build their own navy . All they need is a couple of aircraft carriers .

.. Japan would not be the only country to go nuclear . Australia could do so , very easily . Ditto South Korea . Ditto Indonesia and Taiwan , and others . Do not forget that india is a naval power , one with a carrier force , and it is not far away …

.. there is a video clip [link] here from the Washington Free Beacon . It regards Jay Carney ‘ s press briefing , earlier this afternoon . It is regarding SecState JohnBoy Kerry ‘ s statement (or , as I think , misstatement) that the proposed Syria operation will likely be “unbelievably small ” …

.. JohnBoy should know better . After Vietnam ( a far better reason for Presidential abuses of power ) , he should realize that two things that are next to impossible to control , once unleashed …

[-] War , and

[-] Presidential Power

.. JohnBoy ‘ s statements were a huge blunder , and he had another one on the possible surrender of “chemical arms” from Syria to Russia or Anyone else ? …

… What Could POTUS have been Thinking ?!?! [Ho Chi Minh comments] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Monday,July 29th,2013

.. Of all things , POTUS today hailed hard-core communist revolutionary Ho Chi Minh today as a pretty open guy who was actually inspired by the Founders.

.. Obama took a break from his jobs-pivot speeches to meet Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang at the White House. The pair

held joint remarks in the Oval Office afterward.

.. Obama said their first bilateral meeting “represents the steady progression and strengthening of the relationship between our two countries.”

“Obviously, we all recognize the extraordinarily complex history between the United States and Vietnam. Step by step, what we have been able to establish is a degree of mutual respect and trust that has allowed us now to announce a comprehensive partnership between our two countries that will allow even greater cooperation on a whole range of issues from trade and commerce to military-to-military cooperation, to multilateral work on issues like disaster relief, to scientific and educational exchanges,” he added.

.. After meeting with the leader of a country that persecutes and imprisons bloggers and priests, suppresses media and any form of political dissent and uses forced labor, Obama said they “discussed the challenges that all of us face when it comes to issues of human rights.”

“We emphasized how the United States continues to believe that all of us have to respect issues like freedom of expression, freedom of religion, freedom of assembly,” the president continued. “And we had a very candid conversation about both the progress that Vietnam is making and the challenges that remain.”

The visit by Sang, he said, “signifies the maturing and the next stage of the development between the United States and Vietnam.”

Obama said Sang concluded the meeting by sharing “a copy of a letter sent by Ho Chi Minh to Harry Truman.”

“And we discussed the fact that Ho Chi Minh was actually inspired by the U.S. Declaration of Independence and Constitution, and the words of Thomas Jefferson. Ho Chi Minh talks about his interest in cooperation with the United States. And President Sang indicated that even if it’s 67 years later, it’s good that we’re still making progress.”

Sang said the pair “had a very candid, open, useful and constructive discussion.”

“In a candid, open and constructive spirit, we have come to agree on many issues. We will strengthen high-level exchanges between the two countries. We will consider in order to continue our — to upgrade the mechanism of cooperation at the high level, as well as take the best use of the existing mechanism of cooperation. Particularly, we will continue regular dialogue at the highest level as possible,” the Vietnamese leader continued. “I believe that this is the way in order to build a political trust for further development of our cooperation in all areas.”

.. What would you expect , when you are dealing with one communist (Vietman) ? It is even worse when our President is one . May God in Heaven help us all …

… for some background , see an excerpt from a piece from Reader ‘ s Digest , from the wayback machine , in December of 1968 . It will cue you in to how bloodthirsty a butcher Ho Chi Minh was , and the Vietnamese still are …[link]

… The Pathological Liar [He is In Good Company] …

The Pathological Liar [He is In Good Company]

.. Was there not ever a time that honest people did not despise the subhuman form of blob that is John Kerry ? He first came to public attention more than 40 years ago , lying about his service in Vietnam , and he has been lying about everything — every single thing — ever since .

.. John Kerry got away with his lying for years simply because he was a member of Congress from Massachusetts, a state that hasn’t elected an honest politician in half a century or more. Most states send their criminals to prison. Massachusetts sends theirs to the Senate .

.. Years of experience in dishonesty are, of course, quite valuable in the office of Secretary of State, where Kerry’s predecessor was not  exactly an exemplar of integrity, and so the question is: Is it possible that a liar as skilled as John Kerry is overqualified for this gig ?

..  Considering who he is serving as Secretary of State , he is in good company … as a Pathological Liar !
