… the F.B.I. is expert at This [#email recovery]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Saturday,October 1st,2016

.. news has come to light that the F.B.I. has had a fair bit of success in recovering emails and other documents from the private email server of Bill Clinton and Hillary Rodham Clinton . Why am I not surprised …

.. our nation ‘ s Federal Bureau of Investigation is one of the foremost investigative bodies in the world . There are limits to what it can do , but it can do a great deal ..

.. revering documents from an email server is normally easy . Howevery , the Clintons ‘ email server was ” erased . ” Also , the server was changed to put it on a capability to erase documents every 60 days . That makes the task of document recovery far harder . However , it is not impossible …

.. It appears that the FBI has indeed pulled this off . More to come …

… the Tamir Rice case [#the officers speak]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Wednesday,December 9th,2015

.. Now , the officers involved in the Tamir Rice case have had their day in court , at least so far . how , you might ask . They have acted to appear before a grand jury . They have also filled out and have made sworn statements , under penalty of perjury . A bit unusual , I admit ..

.. .. these two guys have made a tactical blunder , at the least . Why , do you ask ? ..

.. The officers in this case [Timothy Grambach and William Loehrmann] should have kept their mouths shut . In that way , they could still have invoked their 5th amendment rights against self incrimination . Now , they cannot do so ..

.. [h/t — ]..

.. the officers can be called back before the grand jury . If they refuse to testify , then they can be charged with [at least] civil contempt . Even more so , they could even be charged with criminal contempt , and be indicted and charged for that , instead of the shooting ..

… the Tamir Rice case [#outside expert reports]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,November 10th,2015

.. I just wonder , how did this stuff leak out . The Samaria Rice family is not going to be happy with this , not one damn bit …

.. so , what happened ?? ..

.. there are reports that were requested by outside experts . These folks make a living at being neutral outside experts , wise in the ways of policing . Not just the people , but the methods , too . They were asked to evaluate the actions of the two Cleveland cops that approached Tamir Rice in that public park on that November evening in 2014 . What they produced has created quite a stir …

.. [h/t — Newsmax.com]..
.. [link] to the blog post ..

.. the examined the case . They have stated that the two Cleveland cops [including Timothy Loehrmann] acted appropriately , considering the situation . They saw what they thought was an armed perpetrator . Then the perpetrator turned and aimed at the cops . So , what would you do if  you are in their situation , huh ?? ..

.. You fire before you are fired upon . It does not matter that the weapon is an AirSoft toy pistol . The damn thing looks like a real weapon . A real  AirSoft toy pistol has a safety  cap over the muzzle end of the gun , so that you know that the thing is a toy ..

… Now What is the Ruckus [#Tamir Rice case]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Friday,October 23rd,2015

.. plenty ..

.. as part of his decision – making process , Tim McGinty [the county Prosecutor] has engaged several outside experts to weigh in on the case . Whether he [as the prosecutor] decides to take the case to the grand jury , or makes the decision himself not to bring charges , he figures that the opinion of outside experts in the use of police powers and the use of force would be helpful …

.. well , he did . It is not as if McGinty is being a political chicken . McGinty is no fool , especially given the extremely high profile of this case . However , the more information that is available , the better . Even better yet , the information that is used in his decision – making process is being released . Normally , with a grand jury , it would not be . But in this case , a little demystification of the grand jury process is not such a bad idea ..

.. [h/t — DailyCaller.com]..
.. [link] to the blog article ..

.. so , what is all the ruckus ?? …

.. the outside experts have spoken . The Rice family does not like what these folks have said . What the experts have stated is that the two cops who responded to the public part exhibited a ” reasonable amount ” of force ..

.. what does that mean ? If the case goes to a grand jury [as is my guess] , the grand jury will not indict the two cops . They were reasonable in their use of force in shooting the young boy . They has good reason to think that the gun that young Tamir Rice has was a real gun . In addition , Rice drew on the cops . In any case involving the police , that is a really , really bad idea …

… What has Caused the Stink [#Tamir Rice case]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Wednesday,October 21st,2015

.. the radicals in the ” Black lives Matter ” movement , that is who ..

.. the Rice family has engaged lawyers and other activists in Cleveland , as well as from around the nation . They have been engaging in endless rounds of agitation . Their target has been Tim McGinty , the Cuyahoga County Prosecutor , who will make the final decision on the case . So far , the Rice family has not been happy , to say the least ..

.. [h/t — DailyCaller.com]..
.. [link] to the blog article ..

.. it has not been for lack of trying that the family has fought with the prosecutor . The Rice family has taken advantage of an obscure Ohio law to bring forth charges , and place them in front of a Cuyahoga county Common Pleas Court judge. The judge ordered charges be brought , but even he cannot make the final decision . the Prosecutor does so ..

.. there is more to come , to be sure …
