… Go , Rush , Go [#DCCC lawsuit]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Wednesday,November 19th,2014

.. what in God ‘ s name would provoke the MahaRushie to go to war with a political committee ..

.. plenty …. the DCCC conducted a fundraising campaign on a audio / visual series of clips , ones that were taken out of context …

.. [h/t —]..
.. [link] to the blog news …

.. I would not advise elRushbo to go into this lightly . Rush Limbaugh is a serious man , with one hell of a good reputation . It is one that the DCCC tried to slander and defame by doing what they did …

.. Rush is in every sense of the word a public figure . However , those circumstances apply to libel and slander cases , not to defamation . They might apply , tangentially , but it does allow the DCCC to do whatever they want to whoever they want …

… These are ObamaCrapCare charts that the ObamaCraps do not Want You to See …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Sunday,April 20th,2014

.. the ObamaCraps are secretive to excess . I think that is beyond obvious ..

.. but , this secretive and narcissistic ?? yea , that much …

.. [h/t —]..
.. [link] to the evidence and news …

.. you have to see this to believe it ….

7 Blockbuster Obamacare Charts That the White House Doesn’t Want America to See

Remember all those promises that were made to sell Obamacare? Like lowering premiums for a family of 4 by $2,500 a year, allowing people to keep their plans and their doctors, not adding a dime to the deficit, and all of that?

Well, let’s just see how much of a striking success “Obamacare” is based on the numbers so far. The Heritage Foundation created these charts based on the HHS’ own numbers, the CBO’s, and the Kaiser Family Foundation’s.

1.Young People’s Premiums are Jacked Up

Premiums_Age27If you’re a young person, you’re pretty much screwed. Not only will you be paying higher premiums to subsidize your elders, you will be paying more taxes over your lifetime to pay back the loans we’re accruing just to pay for this boondoggle. You’re welcome, right?

2. Family of Four – Your Premiums Did Not Drop $2,500/Yr.

So… Mr. Smooth was going to save a family of four $2,500 a year in premiums, as promised so many times it’s laughable. About that… a family of four is likely to get an increase in premiums, and in addition, basically anyone who wants to work and live the American Dream will be penalized with higher taxes.

3. New Taxes for Everybody!

CP-Obamacare-in-Pictures-11_HIGHRESSpeaking of taxes, check out these bad boys. Not just one, but 18 new taxes lumped into one giant bill that should be called “Obamatax.” Hey, it’s not a tax! Oh yeah, well, now it is.

4. Raiders of the Lost Medicare

You would think from all the hysteria nowadays about Medicaid expansion to the states that this was the main purpose of Obamacare – to spread a huge soviet-style welfare program to as many homes as possible (and let those who are on it tell ya about the amazin’ service while they’re at it!) Anyway, let’s frame some of that left-wing hypocrisy by pointing out Obamacare’s massive cuts to another government program – Medicare.

5. You Like Higher Deductibles? Well, Obamacare’s Got ‘Em!

Now, show him the deductibles, Bob! Average deductibles on the “Catastrophic,” “Bronze,” and “Silver” plans are going through the roof. (No worries if you live in Colorado or Washington, just light up a joint and forget you read this.)

6. Obamacare Costs Way More Than Projected – And It’s Not Even Warmed Up

Now here comes the biggie – cost. If you were one of the supporters of this law who thought it wouldn’t “add a dime” to the deficit, I want you to turn to your (theoretical) children and grandchildren and apologize. We’ll wait.

No, tell them the part about how you’ll be sticking your kids with your generation’s bills, and how debt is the unpaid portion of the federal budget that gets passed on to someone else.

Still don’t feel guilty? How about realizing that all of those taxes coming out of the private sector to pay for this disaster will limit your children’s futures, indicated in part by the half of college graduates who can’t find jobs in their fields? Oh, now you feel guilty.

7. Still Unpopular After All These Years

And lo and behold, this healthcare “reform” boondoggle passed through procedural gimmickry with no bipartisan support whatsoever loaded with nonsense and unread in full by most of the nation’s “representation” in Washington still has very little support  – beyond those Democrats who would support anything the party told them to.

… One Would Think that the First Black President would be …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Friday,April 18th,2014

.. a uniter ..

.. unfortunately , he has not been that at all .

.. Barack Obama tends to forget that he is of mixed – race heritage . He is not just only a black man . He is both black and white . It is as if he has totally rejected any acknowledgement of his white background and heritage . Oh , Oh yes , that is most definitely causing problems …

.. [h/t — DailyRushbo]..
.. [link] to the show segment ..

.. the MahaRushie brings a well – known and salient point to the argument . One would think that he would be a uniter , maybe even a pacifier . He has been neither . Even worse , he has brought a great deal of exacerbated racial tension to the nation ‘ s body politic ….

.. then , the material of the speech . At least at the beginning of the week , at the 50th anniversary celebration of the Civil Rights Act , POTUS behaved himself , to a point . Not at the N.A.N. , that is for sure …

… Do You Really Believe the ObamaCrapCare Numbers ?? …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,April 8th,2014

.. to be honest , No ! …

.. net of those thrown off of their own health insurance policies , the net gain in insured is only 1 million .

.. from the numbers of folks who have lost their insurance , there are several large states who have not or did not report their numbers … and my home state [Ohio] is one of them . Believe you me , plenty of folks here got tossed off of their health insurance because of the ObamaCrapCare rules … Texas is another , Georgia , Colorado …

.. The interesting thing is exactly how many folks have been enrolled in Medicaid , and how many of those are new enrollees (i.e. , previously uninsured) …

….those numbers alone will cause a great deal of budget trouble for many states … Why ? they cannot afford it … It is one of the chief reasons that so many states took the op – out that the U.S. Supreme Court gave them in N.F.I.B. v Sebelius . They know the Medicaid Monster well , and they do not trust the Federal Government to keep its word …

.. [h/t — RealClearPolitics]..

.. [link] to Dr. Krauthammer ‘ s commentary …

.. to be honest , he does not believe in the numbers , either . He thinks that they are a fraud …

.. the grave of Yasser Arafat . Yes , him .

.. they even took a group photo of the journey . That in and of itself was a really dumb idea . Taking a group photo at a grave . No ! Doing so was in extraordinary bad taste …

.. but Arafat ‘ s grave , of all places …

.. however , justice was done . One of the members of the touring group was from Brandeis University , and is a contributor to TruthRevolt . Well , you can guess what happened next . Word of their ” exploit ” got back both stateside and back to Israel , and whoa , boy , what an uproar it caused …

.. a dialogue with collegians and Palestinians is one thing . Attacking the blogger is another . The ” photo ” at the grave ??

… Bravo , David [Webb] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Friday,February 14th,2014

.. David Webb is a hero of mine .

.. he had the guts to get back in the face of those nutjobs in the North Carolina chapter of the N.A.A.L.C.P. . They were having a protest march , entitled ” Moral Monday , ” this week in Raleigh against the new majority of the GOP in the state . To me , it sounds like these guys were behaving like a bunch of crybabies …

.. their furher , Reverend William Barber , has been in the news of late for shooting off his mouth at black Republicans in general , and US Senator Tim Scott [R-SC] , in particular . Barber has called Scott a “ventriliquist ‘ s dummy ” for standing up for what he believes in in the conservative and Tea Party agenda . No , the national N.A.A.L.C.P. is not slapping Barber down for his antics , either …

.. so , David Webb (who is a FoxNews contributor) went down to the Moral March on Monday to ask some questions . Let ‘ s say the reactions get real interesting …

.. gee , was that SOTU a stinker .

.. well , Bryan Preston (at PJMedia) assembled a video list of POTUS ‘ moldy oldies from his past SOTU …

… Gotcha ! [Moody s Investors Services Shutdown & Default memo news]

Posted by paulfromwloh on Wednesday,October 9th,2013

… exactly as I thought ! …

… and this financial opinion comes from a professional financial firm …

.. SecTreas and POTUS were / are lying ..

..  Moody’s says that the U.S. Treasury Department can continue paying interest on the government’s debt even if Congress fails to raise the debt limit, preserving the nation’s sterling AAA credit rating.

.. In a memo being circulated on Capitol Hill Wednesday, Moody’s Investors Service offers “answers to frequently asked questions” about the government shutdown, now in its second week, and the federal debt limit. President Obama has said that, unless Congress acts to raise the $16.7 trillion limit by next Thursday, the nation will be at risk of default.

.. ” We believe the government would continue to pay interest and principal on its debt even in the event that the debt limit is not raised, leaving its creditworthiness intact,” the memo says. “The debt limit restricts government expenditures to the amount of its incoming revenues; it does not prohibit the government from servicing its debt. There is no direct connection between the debt limit (actually the exhaustion of the Treasury’s extraordinary measures to raise funds) and a default.

The Moody’s memo goes on to argue that the situation is actually much less serious than in 2011, when the nation last faced a pitched battle over the debt limit.

“The budget deficit was considerably larger in 2011 than it is currently, so the magnitude of the necessary spending cuts needed after 17 October is lower now than it was then,” the memo says.

Treasury Department officials did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

.. LEC again — Busted !! … Those idiots got caught in the act . Moodys , S&P (Standard & Poor s) , and others have done this stuff for centuries . They know their business , they do thorough research (legal & financial) , and know what they are talking about . I figured that something like this would emerge , but not from which firm , or when .

.. They want to protect their backers ‘  fannies . Also , their subscribers value this kind of info . It is what they are in this business for .

.. POTUS and SecTreas (Lew) should have known better . They have , or should have had , top legal minds to tell them this stuff . They went out , and lied about it , anyway ….

Posted by paulfromwloh on Thursday,January 31st,2013

my take – the voter id issue needs to be addressed . the consistent horsing around on it is getting to be ridiculous .

We as voters deserve to have consistent voting laws . We also deserve to have voting laws that make sense , that act to preserve people ‘ s rights , and act to prevent fraud . politicians , and in this case , state legislators , will mess around , until pressure is brought to bear …

Also , on the conservative side , the potential of an initiative or referendum to implement a conservative – oriented voting bill , or even constitutional amendment , has to be brought to bear , in order to get the legislature ‘ s attention , in order that they will get off their butts , and pass something more to our liking …

Contrary to popular belief , voter fraud is real , and is a problem . a serious problem , no , not now . but it is a problem that needs to be addressed . and not in a politically correct fashion ! …

Ohio House may again debate divisive voter photo ID issue

Robert Higgs, The Plain Dealer [01312013]

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Legislation to require voters to show a photo ID at

polling places, a divisive issue leading up to the 2012 election in Ohio

and across the nation, appears ready to make a return appearance in the

Ohio House.

Rep. Mike Dovilla, chair of the House Policy and Legislative Oversight

Committee, says there is interest among House Republicans for such

legislation. He doubts he will sponsor it, but acknowledged it likely

would go through his committee.

“I suspect that there remains interest in a bill of that nature,”

Dovilla, a Berea Republican, said Wednesday. “We think there is broad

support in the public.”

Similar legislation moved through the House in 2011 . It required

voters show a photo identification at polling places to verify their identity. The acceptable forms of ID were driver’s licenses , state

issued ID cards, passports and military identification cards.

In Ohio, as in other states where the issue was debated, supporters

touted the laws to ensure voting integrity and thwart voter fraud.

Opponents made equally passionate cries of voter suppression.

Ultimately, the photo ID requirement was removed last year to avoid a state referendum.

Republicans hold strong majorities in both the Ohio House and Senate and

could push through legislation now. But if it is reintroduced, expect

hot debate.

“I think the broad approach toward election reform is that you want a

system where there’s the greatest possible integrity,” Dovilla said.

“There’s nary a thing in society that you can do where you don’t need to

show ID of some sort.”

Ensuring integrity of the ballot and creating a barrier to voter fraud

is important, he said. “The onus, I think, is on those who oppose this.”

Democrats are quick to counter. Requiring people to have an official ID

creates a burden that can keep some, particularly poorer voters, from

being able to vote, they say. They liken it to a tax on voting.

“We would have very serious concerns about such a proposal,” said Rep.

Kathleen Clyde a Kent Democrat and, a member of Policy and Legislative

Oversight Committee.

“An ID requirement is kind of a veiled way of having a poll tax, where

you’re requiring people to pay to have a photo ID,” Clyde said. Getting

a state-approved ID could be a financial and logistical problem for the

poor if they have to pay for documents needed to get an ID and have to

find transportation to proper offices.”

Dovilla suggested that the ID could be free for those found to be

indigent. “We want to make sure people have access to this.”

Clyde counters that people should not have to prove they are poor to be

able to vote. “Is that the process we want for our elections?”

Rep. Teresa Fedor, a Toledo Democrat, disputed the ballot integrity issue.

“There’s no outrageous amount of fraud,” she said. “It’s just a

ginned-up issue.

“You just get tired of beating back these non issues.”

Republican Secretary of State Jon Husted did not support the photo ID

requirement in the 2011 bill. His spokesman said Wednesday that Husted

would not comment on the issue now until specific legislation is

Dovilla expects that likely would be soon.

“Election bills tend to move in the first year of a two-year session

like this,” he said. “You don’t want to get into the guts of the

election cycle and then have people from either side saying you’re

trying to move the goalposts.”
