.. POTUS gave a going out – of – town presser the other day , and it did not look like he had a whole lot of fun .
[-] His Lordship has had a crappy year , ..
[-] his signature accomplishment is collapsing , and
[-] He looks like a Lame Duck , spelled with a Capital D – U – C – K . [QUACK!]
.. it looks even worse . see this [link] . AP White House correspondent Julie Pace cooks him on a spit , and makes him look bad , and I mean BAD …

.. these days liberals , especially Black liberals , are the height of intolerant . Why ?
.. [link] to Steven A. Smith ‘ s commentary …
.. to most folks , black conservatives help contribute to the intellectual fabric , by helping contribute to and feed the debate . With black liberals ,however , it is most definitely not the case . They feel threatened by black conservatives . They feel that black conservatives are a grievous threat to their power and their influence .
.. So , what happens ? They are mocked and ostracized , sent to the never – land of the black community , not to be dealt with . They are that afraid of them . While that happens , the black conservative community continues to grow in size and influence …
.. Sooner or later , the black community will have to take note of these folks . They cannot ignore them . These conservatives are among the most vigorous intellectuals , creative artists , athletes , and thinkers , no matter what the skin color . They cannot and will not be ignored , Steven A. Smith …

.. the ad wars for 2014 are just getting started .
.. this one targets Jeanne Shaheen of New Hampshire . She is not exactly on most folks ‘ list of endangered DemoCraps for next year . With the right candidate , and some serious $$ , she could be put on the endangered list …
.. this sucker will be replicated over-and-over-and-over all around the country . Any and every DemoCrap that is even the slightest bit endangered , especially the ones in the Senate , will be the target of ads like this . Enjoy !! ..

.. you need 60 votes in the Senate to invoke what is known as ” cloture ” to move legislation forward . It generally needs this amount in order to forstall any possible threat of a filibuster . So far , there has not been one , as of yet .
.. The problem is that the DummyCraps forgot how to count . You need 50 votes (+ VP Biden , if needed to break a tie) to pass a bill . The Democratic leadership assumed that they would pick up a couple of GOP votes to pass the bill , also assuming that they would lose some of their own people . They just did not think that they would lose very many people . They were wrong .
.. Big Oops . Both of them . Nice going on the assumptions , tricky Dick Durbin (the Senate Majority Whip , for now) . He is supposed to know how to count to either 60 or 50 . Durbin generally does not admit that he is short of the mark , unless he really is . Doing it in public on a Sunday show [wrap up] is probably his way of creating some form of pressure on the GOP to produce some votes . Evidently , they are short of the mark .
.. Nice going , dummies …

.. he calls out the DemoCraps on their trying to blow smoke in people ‘ s ears about the change in enrollment numbers on ObamaCrapCare ..
.. [link] to the video ..
.. if the ObamaCraps and the DemoCraps are going to have a prayer of meeting their goals on ObamaCrapCare , they are going to have to do a much better job of construction , not to mention marketing .
.. Their marketing efforts are a complete bomb . All those cancellation notices and the media attention being paid to the people being screwed out of their relationships with their hospitals and doctors has done a great deal of damage to the image of ObamaCrapCare . They have to speed up enrollments , just to catch up with the cancelations . That does not account for all of the uninsured , and the disastrous shape of Medicaid . Blowing alot of smoke up people ‘ s rear ends is no cure for the failure .
.. The failures on the construction of ObamaCrapCare are much , much worse . The complete and total lack of security is inexcusable . You expect people to trust their most private health and financial information to a bunch of government flunkies , then to a website that has no sense of security in it at all ? Are you guys crazy ?

.. this is an online interview session with U.S. Senator John Cornyn [R – Tx] . This is a [link] to the A/V of the interview session .
.. It is part of what is called a ” Google Hangout . ” I am just beginning to understand what that means . Guess it is just a simple online interview , with the Google brand , I guess …
.. where it gets spicy is where Senator Cornyn puts a rhetorical and political blowtorch to the ObamaCrap Administration over the ObamaCrapCare website debacle and the lies [yes , he said “lies”] over POTUS ‘ promises over you – know – what …
.. Nice Going , Senator ! It is really nice to hear someone call it as they see it , even when the language gets tough . My God , all of the spin these days gets so nauseating , Puke ! …

.. His Lorship is going to regret this one , that is for sure .
.. The RNC and the Congressional party committees are going to have fun with this . Especially with his rewrites of his own laws and those done by his appointees [the E.P.A. in particular] …
.. POTUS should remember this the next time he tries to think of attempting to rewrite a law , and changing its intent … Duh !!

.. for once , i actually agree with something that he has to say . He was a bit off on it , though . .. you already have a big enough credibility problem as it is .
.. News Item : the Republican party is opposed to ObamaCrapCare . It always has been . When the original bill was being considered , what was the response of the Administration and the DemoCraps ? The DummyCraps did not want any opposition suggestions . They ignored the GOP suggestions , poo – pooed them , and tossed them aside , as if they did not matter , not one whit . So , when you get supercharged opposition to the implementation of ObamaCrapCare , what did you expect ? Nothing ? You got what you should have expected . Full scale and vehement and unswerving opposition . Duhhhh !! ..
.. If an opposition party is completely and totally opposed to your policy , they will do what anyone would expect . O – P – P – O -S – I – T – I – O – N . So what else did you expect ? Contributions to the cause ? No thanks . Especially when you dismiss suggestions for improvements out of hand .

.. What is POTUS thinking ? [on ObamaCrapCare] ..
English: Barack Obama delivers a speech at the University of Southern California (Video of the speech) (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
.. POTUS made an executive move on ObamaCrapCare , today .
.. to be rather blunt , I am not sure that he even has the authority to do it .
.. He does not understand the private sector , at all . That is not surprising , considering the current First Idiot never once held a job in the private sector . One that made a payroll . Dealt with the government on regulations and their effect . and Many other things …

.. this one is a very easy endorsement …
.. Chris Christie is a strong personality , there can be no doubt . Christie suffers fools and liberals very rarely , and is
… Chris Christie Governor of New Jersey [R] … (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
(understandibly) intolerant of ignorant fools . Who isn ‘ t . Christie will , however , let you know about it , and why .
.. Is Christie a candidate for the Big Job ? He just might . Dealing with the Bronx Zoo that is New Jersey politics is no piece of cake . It takes a strong intellect and an even stronger personality to successfully deal with the knuckleheads inhabiting New Jersey ‘ s political system . Christie appears to be able to do so , and he does not even have control of either House of the legislature .
.. Just imagine what Christie could do if he did ? He could really work to overhaul things , even more so than is being done now . The back of the radical activist judiciary could finally be broken , once and for all . Also , a true flat – tax reform tax program could be implemented . Also , most of all , there would be hell to pay in the cities , where the corruption is . A Christie – supported AG could really bring in results …
.. enthusiastically support Chris Christie in New Jersey !! …

… this endorsement may be something of a wish . But it is my fervent wish that a sane and reasonable person be elected Mayor of
MTA Chairman and CEO Joe Lhota on the Scene (Photo credit: MTAPhotos)
New York City .
.. New York City has made great progress over the last 20 years . The murder rate in the city and in each borough has shrunk drastically . The rate of crime has , in most parts of the city , has declined markedly . Most of the city is a very marketable place to be and to be seen . Business in the city has never been better . Yet , this progress in the city ‘ s life is not irreversible .
.. It is progress that is not irreversible . It can be lost , if things are not taken care of very carefully . The election of a loonie – leftie democrap , an ObamaCrap clone , one such as Bill deBlasio , would be a serious setback in the city . It would show that the City may have to take a step or two back , before it takes more steps forward .
.. Hopefully , the voters of New York City will come to their senses . Joe Lhota in New York City …

.. this endorsement is a very easy call .
… attorney general of Virginia , Kenneth Cuccinelli (R) … (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
.. Cuccinelli has been a strong , steady , and conservative officeholder for quite a few years in the Old Dominion . By contrast , his opponent , Terry McAulliffe , has never even held office at all .
.. McAulliffe ‘ s own actions have come into question . His so – called line of attack was a libelous and slanderous campaign by the Virginia Democratic party and its uber – liberal allies against Cuccinelli and his campaign . It attempted to draw in the GOP as having a so – called “War on Women,” when it is anything but the point . McAulliffe ‘ s own conduct of his business career has been called into substantial question . A great deal of his reputation is as a political “rainmaker , ” especially for Bill and Hillary Clinton . And , his so – called “green” investments have turned out to be one giant fraud racket . So what is the difference ?
.. Plenty . It is a clear contrast for the voters of the state of Virginia . They should act , and act decisively , to vote for Kenneth Cuccinelli on November 5th , 2013 .

.. what am I saying ?
.. first , Pelosi does not have the votes . The DemoCraps only have about 200 members in the current House , and their numbers are unlikely to go up all that much . Then , you do figure that the Dems have about 25 to 30 moderates left in their caucus .
.. That many ? Yes , that many . I would be willing to bet as many as 10 to 15 of them will not vote for a CR , possibly 20 . That means (since 218 is a majority) , the DemoCraps need nearly 30 votes . Yes , nearly 30 votes . Why that many .
218 – (202 – 15) = 31 ; or 218 – 187 = 31
Official portrait of United States House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio). (Photo credit: Wikipedia)
.. 31 votes . It will take that many votes to make it . it is the votes of the moderates who vote against the CR , plus the votes to reach a majority , plus a 1 or 2 vote safety margin (considering the machinations a House majority can pull) ..
.. why ?
[-] there are not that many moderates in the House GOP anymore . There are some , but not many .
[-] they are loyal enough to Boehner to not cross him on a vote that is this important ,
[-] a number of them are or have been in leadership positions , such as subcommittee chairman or committee chairman . They want to be again , and realize crossing a sitting Speaker of the House is not a way to get back into that position . Especially since , these days , the Speaker appoints (with caucus approval , which is ususally a formality) the committee and subcommittee chairs .

.. FYI — there is a parliamentary procedure in the House to address this offence . What is bigger is that that person is forbidden from speaking on the floor of the House for the remainder of the parliamentary day …

.. It is fairly simple , Ms. Pelosi …
[-] You figure out how much that you want to pay in taxes … ,
[-] You set priorities , and figure out how much you can afford to spend , and
[-] Ideally , you do not borrow …
.. There are plenty of places to cut , and there are plenty of agencies that can be shut down , or that can be phased out . Try it . You just might like it . Especially when you do it without tax increases , as is your wont , Nancy ….

… facts — A … the candidate was prepared , to me , evidently ,well prepared . He did not seem to be reciting talking points , unlike his opponent . He had command of his ideas , and presented them in a well – connected manner … He did not seem to be a marionette , being controlled by a campaign adviser , by the preparation and programming …
… style — A + … Romney started out on the attack , and remained on the attack most of the evening . He seemed confortable in the hall , and with the task at hand …
