… POTUS is not a Dictator [#His Lordship]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,July 8th,2014

.. the President of the United States is not a King . He or She is not a dictator ; He or she is sworn to ” faithfully execute the laws . ”

During an interview with MSNBC’s Chuck Todd, White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest explained that the Obama administration was getting impatient with Congress.

“[W]e’re not just going to sit around and wait interminably for Congress,” he explained. “We’ve been waiting a year already. The president has tasked his Secretary of Homeland Security Jeh Johnson with reviewing what options are available to the president, what is at his disposal using his executive authority to try to address some of the problems that have been created by our broken immigration system.”

.. you may not like it , but the President is the Chief Executive , not the Dictator . He is the head of one branch of a three – branch system of government . He cannot create law all by himself . The Congress writes the laws , the Judiciary interprets the laws , and the President faithfully  executes the laws  …

… The Point is [#the justice system]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,June 24th,2014

.. is that the system worked ..

.. and , in some ways , it did not .

.. this is regarding the 20th ” anniversary ” of the OJ Ford Bronco car chase that marked the beginning of the entire O.J. – related sage …

.. [h/t — TruthRevolt]..
.. [link] to the View segment ..

.. the big problem with the OJ saga is that both the prosecution and the defense played out the saga in the media in a massive P.R. war . Instead , the judge should have kept a tight reign on everyone , and kept the trial in the courtroom , not in the corridors , or in the Court of Public Opinion …

.. otherwise , the system worked . O.J. did get off , but he proved himself a stupid criminal by committing armed robbery in Las Vegas , Nevada , years later . So , he is finally in jail , but not for murder . If he had been found guilty , he may well have been executed . He deserved it , but ….

… Lois Lerner Zips Her Lip (Again) …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Wednesday,March 5th,2014

.. it figures .

.. it will take a contempt of Congress citation and a court order to unzip it .

.. it is more than symbolic of the politization of the Department of InJustice . There should be a special counsel well at work by now . Unfortunately , there is not . The lack of one badly hurts the ability of Congress to do its work . You wonder why ?

.. the Special Counsel and the Congressional Committee can squeeze the intended target against each other . The needs of each are different . Also , after the Ollie North and John Poindexter cases , you will not find a Special Prosecutor fooling around with imunizing itself against a witness ‘ potential testimony .

.. the Counsel ‘ s needs are judicial . They want the co – operation of the witness in a judicial proceeding . The expectation is that there are ” fish ” that are higher up the food chain who are in trouble . The witness ‘ co – operation would help that . The committee ‘ s needs are oversight . The congressional committee is seeking information .

.. Unfortunately , there is no special prosecutor or special counsel . Originally , I was against one . With the severe and crass politiczation of Main InJustice , a special counsel is very much needed to give the I.R.S.gate scandal a thorough vetting . Only that thorough housecleaning will give people back the confidence in the professionalism and non – partisanship of the Infernal Revenue Service …
