… Carter vs. Obama [what I think]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Saturday,September 10th,2016

.. I actually agree with Dick Cheney .

.. Jimmy Carter had his faults , and lots of them . However , he did have things that His Lordship did not (does not) …

.. [-] Carter was a bubblehead , and a nuclear officer at that — Jimmy Carter was one of the early nuclear officers in the U.S. Navy , in the 1950s . He was also a submariner , having served on several commands …

.. [-] Carter was a businessman — Carter was a peanut farmer . Even with the peanut price support program , he still had to run and operate a family business , his farm . Growing peanuts was no piece of cake , to say the least …

.. [-] Carter was a Graduate of ” Canoe U ” [the U.S. Naval Academy] — I will take that over Harvard , Columbia , or any of the Ivies …

.. [-] Carter was a Governor — that gives you executive experience . Clinton was Governor of Arkansas for 10 years , from 1978 – 1980 , and 1982 – 1992 . He and Carter both had to deal with bureaucrats , budgets , taxes , crises , etc … . Being a governor does that . Obama never was an executive of anything worth a damn . Guess why His Lordship is such a colossal screw – up ?? …

.. I personally would not want either one , again . But if I had to choose , I would choose Carter , in a heartbeat . By the by , the Jimmy Carter that was President , not the idiot that he has become now …

… with All Due Respect , Mr. Carter …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,April 1st,2014

.. your pronouncements on religion are a crock of [bleep]…

.. former President Jimmy Carter is a Baptist . He is also extraordinarily preachy . He has become especially so ever since he left the Presidency in January of 1981 . Why ???

.. very few people take him seriously , anymore . Especially in the Middle East . Mr. Carter has clearly taken the side of the Palestinians in the Israeli – Palestinian conflict . But what he has said in attacking several religions in these instances now is far beyond the pale …

… People really Wonder about Our Standing in the World …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Wednesday,March 12th,2014

.. well , at least in the Presidency of George W. Bush , we were respected , if not feared . September 11th , 2001 awakened the sleeping giant …

.. that is something that many nations are spooked by . A benign giant (the United States) is something that they prefer to deal with . A sleeping giant would be even better . An angry and awakened giant ? Look out …

.. however , they definitely do not want weakness in American . Indecision , Indecisivieness , and immaturity are dangerous for everyone . That is what we have right now in Barack Obama in the White House . The Euros may not want an angry giant , but they definitely do not want a weak – at – the – knees one . Which is exactly the way we are behaving right now …

… Where Grandiose Narcissism relates to POTUS …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,September 10th,2013

.. I have highlighted and brought over the relavent passages …

Describing grandiose narcissism as less a psychiatric disease and more a destructive character defect, the document suggested Rudd was held together by one key strut: an absolute conviction of intellectual superiority over everyone else. “Kick out that strut and he will collapse”.

Rudd, the document went on, was vulnerable to any challenge to his self-belief that he was more widely-read, smarter and more

knowledgeable than anyone else “on the planet”. Such a condition of grandiose narcissism would make Rudd obsessively paranoid, excessively vindictive – “prepared to wait years to get revenge”.

Rudd would be threatened by a rival in any of his fields and would be obsessively paranoid and ready to retaliate to real or perceived threats; he would suffer from excessive suspicion. This could be tactically exploited, the document suggested, by promoting the idea that Rudd was merely a caretaker prime minister, to be terminated by colleagues once the election was won.

.. how does this relate to you-know-who ?

.. Easy . Barack Obama is one of the most extremely arrogant , suspicious , and paranoid political leaders that I can remember . At least Jimmy Carter and others have moral centers , save Wilhelm der Fibmeister . Clinton , for all of his moral failing (boy , were there a lot of them , that is for sure) could adapt politicallly , at least when he had to , or when certain parties got it thru his thick skull .

.. in this article (which i have requoted) , it refers to Kevin Rudd . The passage to see is the one that I am posting , or from the second paragraph above …

Rudd, the document went on, was vulnerable to any challenge to his self-belief that he was more widely-read, smarter and more knowledgeable than anyone else “on the planet”. Such a condition of grandiose narcissism would make Rudd obsessively paranoid, excessively vindictive – “prepared to wait years to get revenge”.

.. It does not take much of a stretch to take out “Rudd” and insert Barack Hussein Obama . Sound familiar ?! I thought that you would agree , too …

… Should We Have Dual Citizenship ?!?! …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Thursday,August 22nd,2013

..Should American citizens be permitted to hold dual citizenship ? One American — and the other in the country of their birth or ethnic origin? Or for that matter, any second country regardless of the reason?

..Mexico allows its citizens to retain Mexican citizenship , even if they become naturalized American citizens. Mexico isn’t alone

either. It is among some 60-plus countries — like the Canada of Cruz’s birth — that do the same.

.. Isn’t it time to abolish the antiquated notion of dual citizenship? A reality that by definition requires a dual loyalty — to America and another Country ?

.. And , if not, then shouldn’t Americans — citizens of the only country in the world built not on an ethnic identity but an idea — have the right to vote in every other country on the globe?

.. The real notion of the “ United Nations ” is not the handful of people with titles . The ones that are crowded into that glass building on the banks of the East River in Manhattan. The real United Nations is in fact our own county , the United States of America. According to the U.S. Census Bureau, as of July 1, 2013, America is the third most populous country in the world, with over 316 million people in its resident population. That population is made up entirely — 100% — of human beings from every other country on Planet Earth.

.. Only America is composed of Iraqis and Iranians, Russians and Poles, Muslims, Jews and Christians, Mexicans and Brazilians, the Irish and the Italians and the Germans and the Japanese and Koreans, Chinese, Cubans, Indians, Pakistanis, and so on and on endlessly. Notably, this conglomeration of races and ethnicities results in the inevitable intermarriages.

.. In a very real sense, America is a nation of mutts. With every race and ethnicity, not to mention religion, marrying every other race, ethnicity and religion. It is extremely common for an average American to have several national identities flowing through his or her bloodstream.

.. Every other country on the globe… is based on nationality.

.. Except America. America alone is based on an idea.

But why focus just on Mexico? Just because Mexico sits on the U.S. southern border is no reason to single it out.

..From “A” for “Albania” to “U” for United Kingdom” some 60 countries play the game the U.S. allows of dual citizenship. This includes countries in Central and South America like El Salvador and Colombia, whose citizens are among those counted in the stream of illegals pouring over the Mexican border. It includes countries friendly — Israel, Britain, France, Switzerland — and countries who are a foe. The most prominent on that list Iran, a place that the U.S. has had poisoned relations with since Jimmy Carter was president.

.. In many of those cases , it is because when one emigrates , one ‘ s native country still considers one to be a citizen . That status is by birth . It is difficult  to imposssible to renounce  it .

..  Then there are those countries — friend and foe alike — that forbid dual citizenship: Japan, North Korea, China, Saudi Arabia among them. It is particularly striking that on this list are countries who maintain some version of ethnic or religious purity in their populations.

.. the real United Nations in this world isn’t in that building on the East River. The real United Nations is America itself. There is, in reality, no such thing as “Native Americans” much less a “native American.” Whether you were born last year in Pittsburgh or are descended from somebody who trudged over an Alaskan land bridge thousands of years ago, once upon a time “America” was empty of human beings. From the moment “Native Americans” began pouring into this empty North American continent thousands of years ago, America has been the magnet for the world’s immigrants.

.. I would say no , but I am not totally sure . Where the status is without birthright , the decision is easy . yes , definitely . When it is conferred by birth , then ? It is h . We can , but the native nation still considers it .
