.. Russia ‘ s effective domination of Ukraine [or , its seizure] would greatly affect the diplomatic balance of power on the European continent . Poland and southeastern Europe would be in danger . The Baltic nations would be effectively in an untenable position …

.. so stepping in and aiding Ukraine is substantially in the interest of the United States of America . We need to do it . We must do it ..

… We Should Help Ukraine …

.. we should send both a financial mission , in order to begin to help to straighten out their finances … we should do more …

.. we should send a military mission . We should send military aid , in the form of military trainers (advisers) in order to bring the quality of Ukraine ‘ s military up to strength . Also , advise them to begin the formation of a Marine Corps – style force in order to augment their army . We should consider selling them arms (small arms at first , bigger to come) to bring up the professional level of their military up towards NATO standards …
