.. putting the fear of God into the VA workforce …. by the appointment of an Independent Counsel ..

.. there is plenty of business to investigate …. all over the country . It will take years . It will also help pressure the VA to get its act together while testifying before Congress . If they get caught fibbing , the Counsel will come down on them like a load of bricks …

.. there are other cases where an Independent Counsel is needed , God knows … IRSGate , Fast & Furious , for example . This one cries out for one , so that those idiots at the V.A. understand what they have done is I-L-L-E-G-A-L ….

… Those Dummies Knew [VAgate] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Thursday,May 29th,2014

.. what a big surprise ! ..

.. still , it is damning ..

.. [h/t — WashingtonTimes]..

.. [link] to the article ..

.. did it originate in the Bush Admin ? Yes . However , it started late in their time , and it was not in an easy position for them to deal with it . The big problem for them would have been the DemoCraps and their socialist Demagoguery in Congress . So , they did pass the ball , and gave the ObamaCraps a head’s up …

.. the Washington Times found evidence the Obama administration knew about the problems from the time of its transition into the White House :

The Obama administration received clear notice more than five years ago that VA medical facilities were reporting inaccurate waiting times and experiencing scheduling failures that threatened to deny veterans timely health care — problems that have turned into a growing scandal.

Veterans Affairs officials warned the Obama-Biden transition team in the weeks after the 2008 presidential election that the department shouldn’t trust the wait times that its facilities were reporting.

The briefing materials, obtained by The Washington Times through the Freedom of Information Act, make clear that the problems existed well before Mr. Obama took office, dating back at least to the Bush administration. But the materials raise questions about what actions the department took since 2009 to remedy the problems.

.. for the ObamaCraps , they wanted to do the traditional liberal remedy : they threw money at the problem. They have little incentive to do much of anything else …

.. to remedy the problems though would have made them public , and think back then to early 2009 : Team Obama was trying to sell America on Obamacare, so it’s extremely unlikely that people calling for a greatly increased government role in health care would want to make public a horrific example of what can happen when bureaucrats are in charge of a health care operation. The Obama administration — or any Dems pushing for Obamacare or single-payer — wouldn’t have wanted to shine a light on the VA debacle for the same reason airlines don’t show “Mayday at 40,000 Feet” as the in-flight movie .

.. so , they kept their mouths shut . Now , the bug is coming back to bite them … Big Time  !! …

There does appear to be a time span that will allow Team Obama to blame Bush, and don’t think they won’t run with that. However, that does little to explain why nothing was done about the problem for years since.

… With VAgate , it is Both Problems [#leadership failure , #funding]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,May 27th,2014

.. where it comes to leadership , the ObamaCraps do not know the meaning of the word . They have no idea , and the bureaucracy get to do whatever it wants …

.. [h/t — HotAir]..
.. [link] to the blog post ..

.. where it comes to funding , it is not the adequacy of funding . It is the effectiveness and efficiency of the funding . All the funding in the world will not work if it does not get directed to the right places , in the right way , and is done in the right manner . What would help is that , especially in basic care , is that the damn medical folks produce at an average rate . We really do not need better …

.. However , the vets do deserve better . You can shovel more and more money , and if it does not get to the right place , it will not work worth a damn . When these folks are working at a rate roughly equivalent to the doctors and others in the private sector , I will bet that the waiting lines , especially for basic care , go away ….

.. As to specialized care , that will always be a problem . There are many things that the private sector in medicine can handle . However , there are also quite a few where it concerns veterans care that it either cannot or should not handle it . You still have to manage your resources , budget properly , and get the max out of what you do have . It may not eliminate wait lines , but it should help with the problem …

… Whoa … This is even Worse [VAgate] …

.. this is evidence uncovered at the VA medical system in South Florida …

.. great work by the CBS affiliate in Miami …

.. [h/t — CBS Miami]..
.. [link] to the interview footage …

.. this VA medical complex is so big , it has its own police department . Amazingly enough , it has officers and detectives …

.. What I am wondering , in this case , is where is the US Attorney for South Florida ? These cases of corruption at the VA medical system in Greater Miami are in her / his area of jurisdiction . This character should be putting together a task force to take up the cases , and bring down the “Wrath of God ” on these idiots …

.. that Detective Thomas Fiore has had to come to the media [a TV station] in order to get the news out , and to get people ‘ s attention , tells me volumes . Where in the hell is the Department of InJustice in this ? They should be picking up the ball , not sitting on it ….

.. Fiore put it succinctly , ” People are dying , and there is so much going on …. ” .

.. Hello , Department of InJustice ?!?!

… the ObamaCraps are in Real Trouble [VAgate] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Thursday,May 22nd,2014

.. yes , first of all , it is a very serious scandal .

.. most definitely yes , it is serious enough to merit a ” -gate ” desgination . BenghaziGate is , too . BenghaziGate is the case of a coverup of the action or the inaction regarding the deaths of 4 brave American souls in the service of their country . It also includes the defraudking of the American people , due to the act of the coverup ..

.. with VAgate , THE ObamaCraps are clueless . Get a look at this TV interview …

… Why Cannot the Veterans Admin use the FedEx Model ?!?! [handling Veterans cases]..

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,May 13th,2014

.. Fred Smith was a visionary .

.. his business school did not think so . The school gave him a ” C ” on a project that would deliver packages at high volume from a central hub , distributing them back to where they needed to go ..

.. that model project is what became Federal Express . Some Project , huh . Bet that business school professor feels like a colossal idiot , don’t you …

.. what I am talking about is the way that FedEx keeps track of their packages . It is a marvel . It has been since the beginning . It has uses elsewhere , I would bet …

.. One place would be the Veterans Administration . The way that the V.A. processes and handles veterans ‘ claims for benefits is a complete cluster[bleep].. . There is a 9 – month to a year (at a minimum) backlog for vets to get their benefits handles , processed , and put into the system . That is clearly unacceptable ! …

.. It is not rocket science , folks . FedEx keeps better track of packages . We sure could take better care of veterans , and process their claims into and through the system in an entirely new way , using the FedEx model … the

.. there are other things that can be done to overhaul the operation of the medical system of the V.A. . it is the raison d ‘ etrê of why the Veterans Administration was put together in the first place . More on this to come , God knows ..

.. but , at least , overhaul the claims system for the vets . There is no excuse , none whatsoever , for what is going on now …
