… Waaah !! [#voter registration][#Pinellas Cty][#Chick-fil-A]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Wednesday,October 5th,2016

.. it seems that Florida Dems are a bunch of crybabies !! ..

.. the Pinellas County Board of Elections decided to mount a voter reg drive at dozens of locations around the county . Then Pinellas Cty Dems started wailing . Why ?!?! ..

.. some of the locations that they chose were Chick – fil – A restaurants ..

.. so , Chick – fil – A tends to be a tad conservative in its philosophy . Whoopie – Doo !! …

… The Dems have a Serious Problem [#Israel]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,June 7th,2016

.. and it is going to make writing a platform a royal pain in the neck ..

.. basically , the Dems are tied in knots . They have a growing Arab support base , one that hates Israel ‘ s guts . A great deal of Jewish support for the Dems has been because of Israel . But that support is falling away ..

.. [h/t — Newsmax.com]..
.. [link] to the blog post ..

.. the age range of the Jewish population is changing rapidly . It is getting much younger , and is getting steadily more Orthodox in its orientation . Because of it , and foursquare GOP support of Israel , the GOP ‘ s share of the Jewish vote is growing very nicely , indeed ..

.. so their ability to write a platform , at least on Israel , is going to be a barrel of laughs ..

… Turnout is Going to be an Interesting Measure Tonight [#Super Tuesday]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,March 1st,2016

.. you may ask , why ?? ..

.. Miz Hillary is much closer , effectively , to the DemoCrap nomination [so to speak] than the Donald is to the GOP nomination . but the Donald is in much better shape than people think …

.. so far , [2 caucuses , 2 primaries] , the turnout fOR the Dems has been terrible .. In many cases , the measure of turnout For the Dems is down around 35 % to 40 % .. Ouch !! …

.. while , for the GOP , the turnout could not have been better .. . The interest is much greater , and the competition is far hotter . South Carolina is a case in point ..

.. [h/t — WashingtonExaminer.com]..
.. [link] to the blog post ..

.. yes , Miz Hillary did win an overwhelming victory in SC . But her primary base of support cam from minority voters , and even their turnout fell around 20 % . The overall turnout [for the Dems] was about 372k , down from 2008 ‘ s 532k .. Not good ..

.. so [in a broader base of states] , we will get an even better idea of how the turnout is trending ..

… the Dems have a Serious Problem [#superdelegates]…

Posted by paulfromwloh on Wednesday,February 3rd,2016

.. both parties have what are known as ” superdelegates . ” The GOP has only about 120 . The criteria for those folks is very selective , at least in GOP terms . The Democrats ,  though ,have far more of them , about 720 ..

.. the superdelegates generally go  with the winner of the overall popular vote during the primaries . However ,  they could end up  being  a  deciding factor , as they were originally intended . They could end up going with the 2nd place person  , conceivably . Therein lies a very serious problem , potentially ..

.. [h/t — Newsmax.com]..

.. [link] to the blog post news ..

.. say Bernie Sanders ends up winning the majority of the elected delegates to the D.N.C.  . But [by far] Miz Hillary has a very large majority of the superdelegates . Those superdelegates would end up putting her ” over the top ”  ” for THE nomination  , but they would end up causing a monstrous P.R. problem  for the DemoCraps  , one that they do not need ..

.. Miz Hillary ‘ s delegation would control the convention . But the Sanders delegates could make things very unconfortable  for the Miz Hillary supporters . They could conceivably stomp out the dissent , but that would make thing far ,  far worse ..

.. the Sanders  delegates could bolt the convetion , then join  up with another  party [most likely the Socialists]  or possibly the Greens . Doing  so would just about sound the  death knell for Miz Hillary ‘ s chances of winning the election ..

… Bernie Sanders could be Dangerous for the Democrats in 2016 …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Thursday,March 20th,2014

.. he could run for POTUS from the Senate ; he is not up for re – election …

.. remember , he is a socialist , not a Democrat .

.. if he runs as a Democrat , he will give any DemoCrap candidate grief by forcing them to move to the left . They will have to do it in order to cut him off at the pass .

.. he may even win a few primaries , given the Democratic field , depending on who runs . Hillary may try to ignore him if it is just the two of them . She could conceivably get away with it , because she will be awash in scratch ($$) and campaign ads . But , what happens if there are more than the two of them ??

.. if Sanders runs as a Socialist in the general election , the battle will be to get on the general election ballot . The Socialist party is not well – organized , nationally . The Greens are , and could offer to sponsor him and host him as a New York – style Fusion candidate (getting him on many state ballots) …

.. if he is on enough state ballots , and gathers 2.0% or more , the Dems are dead . They are likely to be dead anyway . ObamaCrapCare and a crappy economy are going to be weighing them down . So will a jimmy – carteresque POTUS , and a weak image …

… Surprise Blast [Israel] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Thursday,March 6th,2014

.. this one came from a speech by US Senator Christopher Coons [D-De] before AIPAC ‘ s annual meeting .

.. yes , I am quoting a Democrat .

.. normally , I do not share much with Chris Coons , politically . Rarely , if ever , to be honest … however , he is spot on with the weakness of POTUS on Syria , and also the hammering of Israel being in part and / or in toto the cause of the current events in Ukraine …

… A Superb Moral Speech [Elbert Guillory] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Monday,July 22nd,2013

.. and , not bad on the politics , either .

.. Up until recently , who had heard of Elbert Guillory ? To be honest , I had not . Not a clue . Then , all of a sudden , BANG ! Hey , what he did took some serious brass . Most officeholders do not have the guts to do it . This guy did . Not only that , he is going to stay in office , and in his current district , and run for re – election . The DemoCraps are going to come after him with both gun barrels blazing , I will guarantee you that . But , State Senator Guillory [R-La] has already been through the toughest parts of the test .

.. I am going to provide for you the text of his speech , courtesy of RealClearPolitics . There is no way to know how long that the video of his speech will be carried in RCP ‘ s archives . A long time , yes , but , I have no idea . However , the text is equally powerful …

.. since WordPress does not support the format that RCP uses , I will provide a link to the video [here] .

Louisiana State Senator Elbert Guillory (R-Opelousas) explains why he recently switched from the Democrat Party to the Republican Party. He discusses the history of the Republican Party, founded as an Abolitionist Movement in 1854. Guillory talks about how the welfare state is only a mechanism for politicians to control the black community.

Hello, my name is Elbert Lee Guillory, and I’m the senator for the twenty-fourth district right here in beautiful Louisiana. Recently I made what many are referring to as a ‘bold decision’ to switch my party affiliation to the Republican Party. I wanted to take a moment to explain why I became a Republican, and also to explain why I don’t think it was a bold decision at all. It is the right decision — not only for me — but for all my brothers and sisters in the black community.

You see, in recent history the Democrat Party has created the illusion that their agenda and their policies are what’s best for black people. Somehow it’s been forgotten that the Republican Party was founded in 1854 as an abolitionist movement with one simple creed: that slavery is a violation of the rights of man.

Frederick Douglass called Republicans the ‘Party of freedom and progress,’ and the first Republican president was Abraham Lincoln, the author of the Emancipation Proclamation. It was the Republicans in Congress who authored the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth amendments giving former slaves citizenship, voting rights, and due process of law.

The Democrats on the other hand were the Party of Jim Crow. It was Democrats who defended the rights of slave owners. It was the Republican President Dwight Eisenhower who championed the Civil Rights Act of 1957, but it was Democrats in the Senate who filibustered the bill.

You see, at the heart of liberalism is the idea that only a great and powerful big government can be the benefactor of social justice for all Americans. But the left is only concerned with one thing — control. And they disguise this control as charity. Programs such as welfare, food stamps, these programs aren’t designed to lift black Americans out of poverty, they were always intended as a mechanism for politicians to control black the black community.

The idea that blacks, or anyone for that matter, need the the government to get ahead in life is despicable. And even more important, this idea is a failure. Our communities are just as poor as they’ve always been. Our schools continue to fail children. Our prisons are filled with young black men who should be at home being fathers. Our self-initiative and our self-reliance have been sacrificed in exchange for allegiance to our overseers who control us by making us dependent on them.

Sometimes I wonder if the word freedom is tossed around so frequently in our society that it has become a cliché.

The idea of freedom is complex and it is all-encompassing. It’s the idea that the economy must remain free of government persuasion. It’s the idea that the press must operate without government intrusion. And it’s the idea that the emails and phone records of Americans should remain free from government search and seizure. It’s the idea that parents must be the decision makers in regards to their children’s education — not some government bureaucrat.

But most importantly, it is the idea that the individual must be free to pursue his or her own happiness free from government dependence and free from government control. Because to be truly free is to be reliant on no one other than the author of our destiny. These are the ideas at the core of the Republican Party, and it is why I am a Republican.

So my brothers and sisters of the American community, please join with me today in abandoning the government plantation and the Party of disappointment. So that we may all echo the words of one Republican leader who famously said, ‘free at last, free at last, thank God Almighty, we are free at last.’

… Sex Offenders for Martin O ‘ Malley …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,July 9th,2013

[h/t — the other mccain]

.. What kind of “counseling” would Markle — convicted of federal child pornography charges in 2005 – give to “children and adolescents”?

… VOTE DEMOCRAT AND DROP YOUR PANTS …

.. To sum things up, Scott Markle and his wife Corynne Courpas are long-time Democratic party activists in Carroll County. They’ve attended five national conventions together and both served on the county central committee. Markle has also served multiple terms as an officer of the county’s Democratic Club. They’ve both donated to Democratic candidates for the past few cycles, including Martin O’Malley.

.. Markle’s enthusiasm for dirty pictures of kids apparently wasn’t cured by his previous conviction, so it looks like he’ll be going back to the place where Maryland Democrats belong: Federal prison.

… a Potential Game Changer in Missouri ? …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Wednesday,October 10th,2012

… i repeat ,  it is a potential game changer …

… it appears Sen Claire McCaskill and her husband , Joseph Shepard    , got caught making up to nearly $39 million in revenue from public housing subsidy contracts , and did not disclose it . Not on her U S Senate financial disclosure form(s) . Most possibly , not even on their tax returns . How many ways other than “Six Ways from Sunday” can you say stupid . Even worse , corrupt . Even more of a problem , criminal …

… Forget about her Senate financial disclosure forms . How about releasing the relevant years of federal income tax returns . Both of them are in very deep trouble . Not to mention her campaign against Todd Akin …

… Yea , I know , Akin stuck his foot waaaay into his mouth . But Missouri is in the heart of the Bible Belt , folks . Their tolerance for corruption is far lower than that of an idiot sticking his foot in his mouth …

… This election is back in the tossup category . It may even be potentially be within reach for Akin , if he can prosecute the argument adequately …
