… Interesting Ad [Louisiana US Senate] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,February 18th,2014

.. that the DummyCraps are not going to like , not one bit .

.. Senator Mary Landrieux [D-La] is going to be very popular this election cycle . Her political position has become very , very precarious . She is either even in the polls with her potential (likely Republican) opponents , or she is trailing them . Worse for her , she is well below 50 percent in the polls . That is the ” danger ” zone for any incumbent …

.. Louisiana is an unusual byrd . It has what is known in the elections trade as a ” jungle ” primary . Democraps , Republicans , and Independents , everybody runs in the primary , which is held on the regular Election Day [in November] . If the first place winner gets 50% + 1 vote , then they are elected . If not , then the top 2 finishers , regardless of party , go on to the runoff election (usually held about 5 to 6 weeks later) .

.. this year , Landrieux should make the runoff , but it is not guaranteed . If she is the only Dem , then she will make it . If another Dem with any support runs , then she is in deep doo – doo . She and a republican will move on to the (December) runoff election . Depending on the General Eleection results , control of the Senate could be in the balance .

.. I think that she will go . Ads like this one will be thick as fleas all year long …

… Yes , People Can Lie like That [ObamaCrapCare] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Wednesday,February 12th,2014

.. Which takes us back to JayBoy Carney , who stands before the White House Press Corpse , day after day , and lies , blatantly , unashamedly , arrogantly , corruptly , and stupidly . Of course, much of the press is complicit in his lies , failing by omission to call public attention to them . They are also often by commission in uncritically repeating them , even supporting them , and praising them. People like Carney always eventually pay for the evil they do .

.. Unfortunately, these idiots , like POTUS , usually do a very great deal of damage before that inevitable payment . May God in heaven help us all …

.. In the meantime , I hope and pray that the 2014 election (and , in time , the 2016 election) will demonstrate , convincingly , that the American people are not nearly as ill-informed and stupid as the Obamites so obviously believe . Hopefully they will demonstrate what they think of liars as well .

… You Have Got to Be Kidding Me [from a NAACP march] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,February 11th,2014

.. this came from Saturday ‘ s NAACP so – called ” Moral March ” in North Carolina ..

.. you see , the DummyCraps do not control North Carolina anymore . Patrick McCrory is Governor of North Carolina , and is a Republican . The GOP controls the NC House and NC Senate . They also control almost every other statewide office — except that of Attorney General .

.. the A.G. is a DummyCrap . Given the Brawl over the Voter I.D. bill , the Governor and the State Legislature are depending on the state Attorney General to defend the bill . Given the (mis)behaviour of several state ‘ s A.G.s [California , New York , Pennsylvania] , there is question whether this guy will defend the bill ..

.. the North Carolina N.A.A.L.C.P. is on its high horse about the issue . Yea , this state ‘ s N.A.A.L.C.P. is the same one where (the Reverend William Barber) has gotten himself into big trouble for running off his mouth over his public commentary over black Republicans in the public eye …

.. [h/t — Twitchy] ..

.. [link] to the post  …

..First, some background:

Leftist activists, including members of North Carolina NAACP, are in Raleigh, North Carolina, today for the so-called Moral March. Their mission? To screech about everything from abortion restrictions to fast-food wages.

North Carolina blogger extraordinaire Sister Toldjah has a must-read Moral March primer on the Moral Monday movement and its hateful organizers.

As bused-in protesters and professional agitators prepared to promote their progressive causes — including oh-so-racist voter ID requirements — the state NAACP told participants make sure to have photo ID handy “at all times.” According to the “Important Dos and Don’ts for Marchers!!!” you should bring a “driver’s license, passport or other valid photo id” to the march.

.. I told you that you would not believe it …

… Touchy , Aren’t You [Cover Oregon] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,February 11th,2014

.. paging Dr. Kitzhaber , paging Dr. Kitzhaber .

.. John Kitzhaber is not going to have a fun or easy year . He is on the ballot for re – election , which is something he has experience with . Kitz ran for and won 2 terms before leaving office , due to term limits . Now , he is back , and is going to be on the ballot again . But , it will be far more difficult .

.. Oregon is an off – year Governor ‘ s state , so Kitz does not have the benefit of the turnout machine of POTUS to help him . Also , he does not have Ron Wyden on the ballot , either . Wyden is a far better politician , and also served in the U.S. House , as well as the Oregon Senate . He is no dummy , and has the connections with the eco-socialists and the unions that Jeff Merkely [who is on the ballot with Kitz] lacks . So , Kitzhaber has a big problem .

.. Well , he has an even bigger problem : Cover Oregon . Oregon chose to operate a state – level exchange , a choice that may or may not have been wise . The federal exchange is having enough problems , but it is doing dandy , in comparison to Cover Oregon , which is an abject disaster . C.O. is all the responsibility of Governor John Kitzhaber …

.. Which explains this blunder from this past week . Kitzhaber was having a press availability , with the local media  in that particular area present . Well , the articles from KATU – TV [ABC] and other media have been getting a lot more press in Oregon these days . C.O. is a disaster , with the waste of over $300 million in taxpayer dollars …

.. People are asking questions , and Dr. Kitz is getting touchy …

… ObamaCrapCare [Employer Justification to IRS] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,February 11th,2014

.. I went back and dug up this CNS article . It is about a year old , but it is more relevant than ever ….

.. It is the proposed rule that I believe syndicated columnist Marc Thiessen was referring to when he made his appearance tonight on the “Kelly File” on FoxNewsChannel . The proposed rule (in that article) is the one that the IRS has made final , now . Yea , it is micromanaging of a Business ‘ hiring and firing and staffing decisions , making them subject to the audit of the Infernal Revenue Service …

.. [h/t — CNSnews]..
.. [link] to the article..

(CNSNews.com) – The Internal Revenue Service warned employers in a new regulatory proposal not to come up with clever schemes to avoid Obamacare’s employer health insurance mandate. The IRS said it would soon issue “anti-abuse rules” to discourage employers from taking advantage of any regulatory loopholes. “The Treasury Department and the IRS are aware of various structures being considered under which employers might use temporary staffing agencies (or other staffing agencies)… to evade application of section 4980H [the employer insurance mandate],” the IRS said in a proposed regulatory announcement issued December 28.

The IRS said it would issue a so-called “anti-abuse rule” in an attempt to prevent employers from using temp agencies to circumvent the mandate, essentially writing into law that even though an employer hires temporary workers and therefore is not technically under the mandate’s jurisdiction, the IRS would fine them anyway for not providing health insurance. “It is anticipated that the final regulations will contain an anti-abuse rule,” the agency said. “Under that anticipated rule, if an individual performs services as an employee of an employer, and also performs the same or similar services for that employer in the individual’s purported employment at a temporary staffing agency or other staffing agency of which the employer is a client, then all the hours of service are attributed to the employer for purposes of applying section 4980H.”

In other words, if an employer hires someone part-time, then uses an employment agency to bring the same person on for a second part-time shift, the IRS will still hold the employer liable under the ObamaCare mandate. Similarly, IRS said that if an employer hires the same person for two part-time stints by using two different employment agencies, it will hold either the employer or one of the employment agencies liable for the mandate’s penalties. The issue stems from the employer health insurance mandate in Obamacare, which requires employers with 50 or more full-time employees to provide government-approved, affordable health insurance to at least 95 percent of their employees (and dependents). If any of those employees receives government health insurance subsidies, the IRS will fine the employer up to $2,000 per employee, according to a formula outlined by the IRS.

The warning is part of proposed regulations from the IRS outlining how employers must determine whether they meet the 50 full-time-employee threshold and whether the insurance they offer meets government standards. The IRS said that a full-time employee is one who works an average of 30 hours per week or 130 hours per month, roughly 6 hours of paid service per weekday. The IRS also said that in order for an employer’s health insurance plan to pass muster with the government, it must be available to 95 percent of employees and cost no more than 9.5 percent of an employee’s wages. The agency specified that employers could still fall under the mandate if they employ enough part-time workers to equal 50 full-time workers. For example, if an employer has 40 full-time workers and 20 part-time workers, that employer would be considered by the government to have 50 full-time workers and would be subject to the mandate because the 20 part-time workers average to 10 full-time workers – meeting the 50 full-time-worker threshold.

… Nice Going , Cleta ! [Mitchell] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Monday,February 10th,2014

.. Cleta Mitchell is a force of nature , someone who will not be denied .

.. Cleta is one of the Republican Party ‘ s best advocates , especially since we tragically lost Barbara Olson on 09/11/2001  . Cleta someday will hopefully be able to serve our country in government . Her service would be ideal in  the Department of Justice , cleaning out the puss and vermin that are the radical activists that infest the place . Those rats need to go …

.. if your group is having I.R.S. – related problems , Cleta and her firm are ideal to help you. She is a tireless advocate for her clients and her causes , never giving up on either .

.. Here she is testifying before Congress …

… Insurance is One Thing [ObamaCrapCare] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Saturday,February 8th,2014

.. and access is something else .

.. the insurance exchanges are non – profit state agencies . In this case , Covered California is a state – level one . Three quarters of the states are on the federal dole . Those dummies could not give a fig about any kind of control over their costs . With the  states , it is an entirely different matter ..

.. Covered California is a state – exchange . This entity was created by the state legislature , and signed into law by Governor Jerry Brown . In their case , they have to act like a business . The big problem is : How to Control Costs . Doing it in practice is not quite so simple .

.. Putting the hammer on primary care is one thing . The practice of primary care medicine is evolving , and fairly rapidly . Medical practices are consolidating , and are , to be honest , becoming far more corporate . Specialists are doing likewise .

.. The problem is , still — How to Control Costs ???

.. These dummies are not using the market to do it . The market would do it , and do it nicely , by incentivising consumers to the costs and benefits of their medical choices and the maintenance and changes in their health status . The ObamaCraps are contributing to it by hamstringing Health Savings Accounts [H.S.A.s]] . They are not eliminated , but they are heavily regulated , and are effectively blocked from helping with the consumer  ‘ s choices  .

.. Another blunder is the design of the system . HSAs would be ideal for this . Especially when you can build up savings over time , or deposit more of your own money , in addition to your employer ‘ s coin . When you do that , you would have much more saved , and can be much more picky about what and who to buy from , as well as why .

.. As a result , the state exchange [Covered California] is resorting to restricting access . What this is , means rationing . The primary care physicans act in a way similar as they would in an H.M.O. , as a gatekeeper . A patient would need a referral to see a specialist . Unfortunately , even the number of primary care docs is limited .

.. Insurance is one thing — Access is Another …

… Nice Going , Your Lordship [Obama] [on ObamaCrapCare] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Friday,February 7th,2014

.. you have always accepted the Congressional Budget Office as an impartial arbiter of the budgetary impact of your ObamaCrapCare policy . Well , they have come out with an up-to-date report , and it is not good , [link] …

.. these changes that have been put into effect by ObamaCrapCare are having a drastic effect on the private sector . According to the C.B.O. , these policy changes are causing up to (or will cause) 2.5 million jobs to be eliminated over the next ten years [at a minimum] . That is at a minimum , to be honest .

.. Given the forecast methods and models of the C.B.O. , I am betting that these numbers have been drastically underestimated . The C.B.O. uses Static Revenue Analysis in its modeling . Any competent economist in a case like this would use Dynamic Revenue Analysis . When they do , the impact is likely to rise by quite a bit …

.. just to check , that is 2.5 million jobs over a ten year period … roughly 250,000 jobs a year , or 20k jobs a month … that is not an insignificant impact …

… Watch POTUS get ” Fried ” [ObamaCrapCare joke] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,February 4th,2014

.. what happened to the fry cook , Darnell Summers , is no laughing matter .

.. the costs of ObamaCrapCare are going waaay up . The stupidity of the Essential Benefits package and the rigidity and bureaucracy of the system that has been created is a big part of the reason why . Also , the rules adopted by H.H.S. as regards to ” full time ” employees are giving employers a very good excuse to cut both  employment numbers and employment hours fairly rigorously  . They would be stupid to do otherwise …

.. The full time equivalent numbers give businesses an excellent reason to cut back to only what they need . If they can get below the ObamaCrapCare minimums , they will try . When and where possible , they will try to reduce hours per week per employee to reduce on benefit and health insurance costs , however possible ..

.. if you want to watch the confrontation ,  watch [here] .. Summers puts you-know-who on the spot , but good …

… How Stoopid was ABC ? [fooling with Guns] …

Posted by paulfromwloh on Tuesday,February 4th,2014

… ABC news was conducting a special , realizing kids might play around with guns . So , they hid guns (handguns would be my guess) within a pile of toys , and kept track of the kids on video , in order to see how long it would take the kids to find the guns .

.. How could they ? Theere are much safer ways that can teach children and teenagers about the use , safety , and dangers of guns . The N.R.A. ‘ s ” Eddie the Eagle ” program is an excellent one , and it is used all over the place ….

.. there are legitimate uses for research , but the use of a gun to promote a media company ‘ s agenda is not one of them .

.. radio host Dana Loesch apparantly agrees with me . See her video clip on the subject …
