.. I am a Roman Catholic , too , like the governor of my state , John Kasich ..
.. like him , I am at odds with my Church on the Death Penalty . Yes , it is a profound moral question . But it is a matter of justice , not revenge ..
.. the people of the State of Ohio have stated in our Constitution that we want the death penalty to be authorized as a method of punishment . Now that it is , we deserve that it be carried out in an effective and efficient manner . The radicals would stop that …
.. Our Nation ‘ s Constitution carries a similar message . It does not allow cruel and unusual punishments to be carried out , but it does allow others . The Death Penalty is specifically stated that it is neither cruel nor unususal . So , it is the job of the courts to carry to people ‘ s judgement forward ..
